Dr. Richard Saxen, MD is a board certified Internist who specializes in Clinical Lipidology. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Clinical Lipidology. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he attended medical school at the Medical College of Ohio. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Stanford University. After concluding 4 years of service as an active-duty physician with the United States Air Force, he has spent more than 10 years working in hospital medicine with SDACC, including serving as Chair of the Department of Hospital Medicine for Kettering Health Main Campus.
