The Adventure and Travel Medicine Center provides a consultative service to international travelers. When obtaining service at the travel center, you will be seen by a board-certified Infectious Disease physician. During the consultation, the physician will provide information specific to your area of travel. After the consultation, the physician will make recommendations regarding needed preventive measures and vaccines. The vaccines available are stated below. Please be aware that some vaccines are provided as a series and you may have to make more than a visit. The travel center offers the following vaccines in adult and pediatric dosages:
Rabies, Pre and Post-Exposure
TD (Tetanus & Diphtheria)
Typhoid, Oral & IInjectable
Japanese B (must be preordered)
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
This service is by appointment only. The center offers appointments Monday through Thursday, times vary.
Go to the Patient Portal to fill out forms needed for your appointment. Call our office if you need a portal account. Each person coming to the appointment needs an account. Once the account is created, please fill out the Pre-patient Registration form and the Adventure and Travel Screening Form.
We will call you for an appointment once your account has been created, we have received your forms and we know your billing status. We will discuss pricing at that time if your insurance does not cover the travel clinic charges. Inquiries regarding the consultation and vaccine fees should be made prior to your visit, as payment is due at the time of service.
