Adventure and Travel Medicine Center provides a consultative service to international travelers. When obtaining service at the travel center you will be seen by a board-certified Infectious Disease physician and a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse, or a medical assistant. During the consultation the physician will obtain a personal health history and provide information specific to your area of travel. After the consult the physician will make recommendations regarding needed preventive measures and vaccines . The vaccines available are stated below. Please be aware that some vaccines are provided as a series and you may have to make more than a visit. The travel center offers the following vaccines:
The service is by appointment only. The center offers appointments on Monday 9:30 AM- 12:00 PM, Tuesday from 1:00 PM to 4:30 PM, and on Thursday 8:30 to 11:00 AM.
Inquiries regarding the consultation and vaccine fees should be made prior to your visit, as payment is due at the time of service.
For Forms that need to be filled out for an appointment, please go to "Patients Portal". You are required to create an account for each person coming to the appointment. Please fill out the Pre-patient Registration Form, and the Adventure and Travel Screening Form, as well as create an account for EACH person coming to the appointment.
We will call you for an appointment once your account has been created and we know your billing status. We will go into pricing at that time if your insurance does not coverthe travel clinic charges.
